This superior quality oral mirror heightens luminous flux thanks to its extremely bright mirror surface, and prevents parallax effects in marginal areas. The result: you always have a clear view of the area you’re working on.
A reflection at the glass surface by conventional mouth mirrors leads to a second, attenuated reflection. The result is an interfering ghost.
The metal surfaces are non-dazzling. The mirror is ultra-bright and surfacemirrored.
In the interest of preventing eye fatigue during dental procedures, the surface of the MXS mirror is extremely bright. The result: the mirror helps bring the elements you’re working on into maximally sharp focus. The human eye’s highest resolution occurs in the fovea centralis, which is the part of the retina with the highest receptor density. The human eye always focuses on an object in such a way that the object is represented in the fovea centralis, which is around 0,5 mm in diameter. The remaining surface of the retina is devoted to peripheral vision. Because we perceive a given scene by means of a moving fovea, the angle ranging from one to three degrees also plays a major part when it comes to indirect (reflected) sight.
The smooth surface of the MXS mirror also promotes good water runoff, in a manner that prevents clouding of the mirror.
