1968: Released super high-speed handpiece "Astron", an air bearing handpiece without ball bearings.
1969: Merged Tokyo Plant of J. Morita Manufacturing Corporation with Sanshoku Inc. to establish Morita Sanshoku Inc. (currently J. Morita Tokyo Manufacturing Corp.).
1970: Commenced innovative Morita SFD (Spaceline Franchised Dealers) system.
1974: Opened a representative office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Relocated the Morita Osaka Headquarters to a newly built building in Suita City, Osaka, which is named "Dental Plaza."
1977: Released "Veraview," a DC panoramic X-ray unit developed as a result of joint technological development with Soredex (Finland).
1979: Established JME (J. Morita Europe GMBH) in Frankfurt, Germany.
1980: Established EAD (East Asian Dental Corporation Ltd.) in Bangkok, Thailand.
1985: Commenced the MMD (Morita Merchandise Dealers) system for Morita's dental instruments and materials.
1993: Released "Spaceline Feel 21," a dental treatment system developed in anticipation of the 21st century.
1994: Completed construction of J. Morita Tokyo Mfg. Corp. headquarters building.
1995: J. Morita Mfg. Corp. and J. Morita Tokyo Mfg. Corp. became the first Japanese companies to obtain ISO 9001 (international standards for quality systems) certification for entire product lines.
1996: Celebrated Morita's 80th anniversary at the Kyoto International Conference Hall.
1997: Released "Veraview Epocs", a panoramic X-ray unit with selectable functions including dental panoramic radiography and cross-section tomography.
1998: Released "In-clinic LAN System" for the total management of patient treatment records, including digital X-ray images and intra-oral camera images, using personal computers.
1999: Released "New Patient Oriented System A&C", a dental examination and treatment system for efficient and comfortable treatment and care, ensuring amenity to patients.
J. Morita Mfg. Corp. and J. Morita Tokyo Mfg. Corp. obtained ISO 14001 certification for their environment management systems.
2000: Published a general catalogue "digital DO" (CD-ROM) and "handy DO".
2001: Celebrated our 85th anniversary.
