Vinyl Polysiloxane Impression Material
PerfectIM® Systems offer accurate final impressions of subgingival margins without use of retraction cord, gingival excision or application of hemostatic agents. This two-step vinyl polysiloxane impression system eliminates the time consuming task of packing retraction cord and therefore any possible posttraumatic discomfort. Because these materials are hydrophobic, they will displace fluids. These materials are cartridge dispensed, thixotropic (except for Final Wash and SnoWhite™), radiopaque, resistant to fluid absorption, tasteless and odorless. They provide excellent dimensional stability and are immersible in aqueous disinfectants. A range of working/setting times and viscosities are available for any impression procedure.
FEATURES

PerfectIM Overview Video |

The H & H Cordless Impression Technique was developed by Dr. Jeffrey Hoos and J. Morita USA. It's known as one of the best revolutionary developments in clinical efficiency! This technique allows you to save an average of 15 minutes per "crown & bridge" appointment while achieving exceptionally accurate results. Clinical Indications: The 30 Second Blue Velvet is the same formula as the original Blu-Mousse and has a set time of just 30 seconds. It has a whipped cream texture that is thixotropic, which eliminates running, dripping and gagging. It has been designed specifically for the H & H impression technique and also for bite registrations. It is the ideal material for fast, highly detailed, and extremely accurate interocclusal records. Use the J. Morita impression material gun and 30 second Blue Velvet that leaves you with NO DOUBT ABOUT A BITE® ![]() H & H Cordless Impression Technique (Hydraulic & Hydrophobic) Immediately following a crown preparation, a primary impression is taken with either 30 Second, 90 Second, or Universal Blue Velvet. Then either 30 Second or 90 Second Flexi-Velvet is injected into the impression of the prepped tooth. The FLEXI-VELVET material is hydraulically moved into the sulcus, displacing the gingival tissue and oral fluids. Since the FLEXI-VELVET is hydrophobic, it does not absorb moisture, and sets without distortion. These two occurrences are described as hydraulic and hydrophobic, or the H&H technique, which make it possible to achieve accurate impressions without the use of retraction cord. This technique was developed to improve patient comfort while obtaining accurate results in an efficient manner. |
