Technical requirements

i-Dixel can be installed on Windows Server 2008 through 2022 or even Windows 11 Pro for clinics looking for a simpler solution.

Recommended specifications are different depending on whether you are prepareing PCs for 2D image viewing or whether you working with CBCT data.

  • Each panorama image requires approximately 5 MB and each CBCT volume (depending on FOV) requires between 100 - 1000 MB disk space including raw image data.
  • i-Dixel supports both 32 and 64 bit environments
  • Windows Home editions not supported
