Radiation exposure

The concept of “safety” counts two-fold in X-ray diagnostics: the safety of the diagnosis and radiation safety.
All legal regulations of the EU have the same objective (ALARA principle): low dose radiation exposure and high-resolution images.

Our panoramic X-ray unit upholds the ALARA principle by reducing the exposure time to only 7.4 seconds, and a cephalometric scan doesn't take longer than 4.9 seconds. In comparison to systems that require film development, the radiation dose comes to only 1/4 (panorama) or 1/10 (ceph) of the conventional dose.
