Social Media Accounts Terms of Use

This site specifies the rules (hereinafter "Terms of Use") for operating and otherwise using official social media accounts (hereinafter “Official Accounts”) of J. MORITA MFG. CORP. (hereinafter “Morita”).
“Official Accounts” refers to social media accounts established and operated by Morita using services provided by Facebook or other outside companies. The Facebook pages and other social media sites are not considered Morita websites and are not administered by Morita.


Article 1 Purpose of Usage

Morita shall use Official Accounts for the purpose of providing information to Morita users (as defined in Article 4).

Article 2 Applicability and Changes to these Terms of Use

These terms shall apply to providing and using Official Accounts by Morita or account users (as defined in Article 4). Morita reserves the right to change the terms without advance notice to or approval by users. Changes to these Terms of Use shall be effective from the point they are posted on an official Morita website.

Article 3 Official Account Usage and Operating Hours

 Use of Official Accounts implies consent to the Terms of Use as it applies to Users specified herein. Morita reserves the right to change or discontinue the content of Official Accounts without advance notice to users. Morita does not promise to keep all Official Accounts updated. Morita is generally not obligated to respond to messages, comments, or other information posted on Official Accounts.

Article 4 Users

Individuals who view or use Official Accounts are referred to as Users. Using an Official Account indicates User agreement to comply with the Terms of Use specified herein.

Article 5 Accessing Basic Information

Morita may access User information disclosed in social media settings, such as the User name and profile photo. If a User follows or subscribes to an Official Account, that is treated as indicating permission for the Official Account to access User information.

Article 6 Precautions

Users should note the following precautions. Morita is in no way responsible for any losses that result from Users violating the following precautions.

The User is responsible for saving text and other data created by the User.

Be careful not to reveal passwords to third parties.

Do not infringe the copyrights, image rights, privacy rights, or other rights of other Users, third parties, or Morita.

Article 7 Forbidden Actions and Criteria for Deletion

The following actions are forbidden for Official Accounts.

If a User performs any of the forbidden actions below, Morita has the right to issue a warning, cancel the registration, charge compensation for damages, or implement other remedial measures as necessary.

Morita can also block applicable User accounts. In such cases, the blocked User will not be notified.

If a User causes a loss/damage to a third party due to using an Official Account, the User shall be responsible for resolving the issue at their own expense.

Actions that might interfere with operating or cause other problems for Official Accounts.

Actions that cause or might cause inconvenience or disadvantage to other Users, third parties, or Morita.

Actions that cause or might cause infringement of trademark rights, copyrights, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other relevant rights of other Users, third parties, or Morita.

Actions forbidden by respective social media providers.

Actions that conflict with the purpose of the Official Accounts or are unrelated to the purpose of the Official Accounts.

Actions that would identify, disclose, or leak personal information without the approval of individuals.

Actions that would harm or defame the reputation or trust of a specific individual or group.

Actions that would or might violate applicable laws, regulations, or public policies.

Actions that would or might be connected to a crime.

Actions that involve impersonating/spoofing a third party, including Morita.

Other actions Morita judges to be inappropriate.

Morita values communication with Users and does not take deleting a post lightly.

However, if a posting involves a forbidden User action indicated above, Morita reserves the right to delete the posted information or other content or implement other remedial actions without notifying the User.

Article 8 Intellectual Property Rights

Users shall not use any information provided via Official Accounts without the express permission of corresponding right holders, unless the use is not subject to copyright law restrictions, such as making personal copies. No information may be used for commercial purposes.

If a problem occurs between a User and a rights holder or other third party due to a violation of requirements in this article, the User shall be responsible for resolving the problem at their own expense.

Article 9 Disclaimers

Morita accepts no responsibility for the following issues related to using the Official Accounts.

Accuracy of statements or claims on this page.

Losses incurred by a User or other third party due to information released by Morita .(excluding deliberate or major negligence by Morita)

The content of information posted by Users.

Losses due to a User using or not being able to use the Official Accounts.

Losses due to problems that occur between different Users or between a User and a third party.

Other issues that Morita judges to be relevant/subject to the above.

Article 10 Released Information

Official announcements or opinions will be released via official channels, such as an Official Morita website.

The information posted on the Official Accounts by Morita or Morita employees does not necessarily indicate an official announcement or opinion by Morita.

Content posted by Users does not necessarily reflect the views of Morita, Morita employees, or others related to Morita.

Article 11 Handling Personal Information

Personal information obtained by Morita from Users will be carefully controlled based on Morita’s personal information protection policy.

Article 12 Applicable Laws and Jurisdiction

This guideline shall be governed by Japanese law. The Osaka District Court shall have the exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance over any disputes arising between a User and Morita.
