On February 25, 2021, Morita Dental Products Corp. (location: Otawara, Tochigi; representative: Haruo Morita), a wholly-owned subsidiary of J. Morita Corp. (hereinafter, ”Morita”; location: Suita, Osaka; representative: Haruo Morita) entered into an agreement concerning the transfer of business from Dentsply Sirona K.K. (location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; representative: Yuko Kitamoto) at its plant in Japan (Nasu Plant), which manufactures orthodontic products. As soon as Morita Dental Products obtains approval from the regulatory authorities and fulfills other requirements, it is scheduled to take over the business. The details will be announced following further discussions. 　

The orthodontic market in Japan expects to see continued robust expansion. Among the players in the market, the products made by the Nasu Plant of Dentsply Sirona K.K. had been highly rated by users. Following this business transfer, Morita will strive to provide a wider range of products and services by strengthening the alignment of the Nasu Plant’s business and products with those of Morita.
