Root ZX II OTR Module has 3 memory spaces. This is perfectly sufficient for several reasons: The torque values stated by the manufacturers of files usually are maximum values that apply for new files. Yet, the file already is „stressed“ after just a few rotations in the root canal and, consequently, worn up to a certain degree. Accordingly, the maximum applicable torque value is that much lower. This questions the relevance of stipulating strict values.
If you have more memory spaces, you will have to make more adjustments on the device during the treatment (stress, hygiene). OTR stays far below any maximum values and, in addition, it only requires a maximum of 3 files. The torque values primarily depend on the method and not so much on the files.
