COVID-19: Message to our valued partners regarding recent changes


Valued Partners,

As COVID-19 (Coronavirus) dominates the news and continues to impact lives on a global scale, we at J. MORITA USA assure you that we are well-positioned to continue our long tradition of support for our business partners. Our hearts and thoughts go out to those who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate those who are on the front line working to contain this pandemic.

Our home office in Irvine, California remains open. We are maximizing the use of work from home options when feasible to help protect employees and the broader community. Office hours have been reduced slightly. The office is now open at 7:00 am and will close at 4:00 pm (Pacific) Monday through Friday.

To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, below are steps we've taken to ensure that our associates are safe and that our critical employees, in departments such as sales, shipping, customer service, technical, and marketing will continue working to maintain the flow of products and support to our partners.

Measures implemented by J. MORITA USA:

  • Travel: Non-essential travel has been suspended.
  • Meetings: All in-person meetings have been cancelled (or rescheduled) and visitors to the office are restricted to those required for essential services.
  • Telecommuting/Work from Home: Associates have been provided with the tools and technology to work from home when possible.
  • Customer Service: Staff is available to assist customers for small equipment and consumables from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Pacific) over the phone at (800) 831-3222 or by email at info@jmoritausa.com. Customer support for large equipment is available 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily in the Pacific, Central, and Eastern time zones at (800) 831-3222 ext.1081.       

We realize this is an unsettling situation and want to assure you that the team at J. MORITA USA remains focused on our mission to rely on people, integrity, and service to provide to our partners in the healthcare supply chain.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these stressful circumstances. Our mutual goal is to successfully mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the potential impact to our healthcare system.
